LawDirectory.au aims to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. Our target is conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, consistent with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).
What we do
- Semantic headings, labelled form fields and keyboard-operable navigation and search;
- text alternatives for meaningful images and sufficient colour contrast;
- pages that reflow on mobile devices and respect browser zoom and text-size settings;
- review of new templates against WCAG 2.1 AA before release.
Known limitations
Some third-party components (maps, embedded forms) may not fully meet AA. We are working through these and will update this page as they are resolved.
Tell us
